We are the Amazon Associate Experience platform team. Our charter is to deliver a scalable, robust and secure device platform for all our physical stores: AmazonGo, AmazonBooks and Amazon 4 stars. Our team is building and maintaining the applications, tools and services that enable our associates to operate the stores, using a variety of devices such as mobile handheld devices, point-of-sale stations, demo devices, on a wide range of hardware and software platforms.

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced software development engineer with proven ability to leverage AWS as well as modern front-end and back-end technologies. As a Software Development Engineer in Amazon Associate Platform team, you will collaborate with a team of talented engineers to build highly-scaled, low-latency solutions to manage hardware across all stores and regions, including provisioning, support and maintenance. We are looking for an engineer who can effectively deal with ambiguity and work independently to clarify requirements, build quick prototypes and deliver results quickly.

In this role, you will encounter challenging, novel situations every day and work on them in touch with with multiple technical teams across Amazon in different locations. You'll need to be comfortable with a degree of ambiguity that's higher than most projects and relish the idea of solving problems that, frankly, haven't been taken on at scale before.
