In 2019, consumers are projected to take over a trillion photos and videos, and Amazon Photos is one of Amazon's newest and fastest growing Prime benefits. We provide unlimited, original resolution photo storage for Prime members who now have a simple, secure place to store their existing collections of photos, automatically upload new photos as they are taken, and access them anytime, anywhere, at no additional cost. We store hundreds of petabytes of data and provide apps for customers to access their photos and videos on iOS, Android, PC, Mac and web.

The Prints mission is to enable Amazon Photos and Amazon Retail customers to share and re-live their memories through physical products. We believe that physical products have the ability to create a deep, lasting emotional response for our customers. Our goal is to create an emotional response so powerful that it triggers tears of joy, laughter, or a genuine smile. Who You Are: You have excellent coding skills in an object-oriented programming language, solid CS fundamentals and strong problem-solving capabilities. Nothing makes you happier than bringing breathing life into a CX/UX. You sweat the details and you have a natural drive to move fast, and deliver actual results. You are a natural leader and can organize teams of software engineers to deliver results. You are comfortable driving long-term technical vision and architecture in order to meet the goals of the business.

What you will be doing:

Your new team is responsible for the design, development, and testing of the different printing product launches, as well as keeping up with the scalability and performance of the services. Your solutions will be high-quality, maintainable and robust.
