This specific position is to work on a new team, that we are building in Amazon Chime, for end-user facing features for our Amazon Chime client applications as well as for administrators of Chime AWS console. AWS Console for Chime is the place where our customers setup and manage their Chime Accounts, manage user licenses and identity providers, domains and much more. We also make sure that these administrators can automate all these operations using AWS SDK for Amazon Chime. We solve interesting, real-world challenges - we optimize the customer experience for a range of devices, develop new features and user experiences, overcome slow networks and build common technologies that can be used by other teams.
We are looking for Software Engineers with the passion and experience on working as a full stack developer who will primarily work on AWS Console (console.aws.amazon.com) but will also learn about and contribute to web applications for Chime, Windows/MacOS platform apps and Chime mobile apps. Key areas include: Enabling rapid client development, finding innovative ways to scale and increase performance, building tools to ease continuous integration and automated testing, adding metrics for customer usage and take tactical decisions based on data to improve user experience, while supporting existing Amazon technologies.
