Job Description

Self Service Performance Advertising provides the platform for some of Amazon's fastest growing strategic businesses, such as Sponsored Products and Headline Search Ads. Our global advertising platform provides self-service low-latency systems for multiple performance-based advertising programs with large ad inventories. It supports both automated and advertiser-specified optimization controls and features particular integrations for using product data from across the entire Amazon catalog as a source of ad content. Our products are strategically important to our Retail and Marketplace businesses driving long term growth, and as such our organization's initiatives are highly visible to Amazon's executive leadership. We are growing at an unprecedented rate with a seemingly endless range of new opportunities, and have a broad mandate to aggressively experiment and innovate.

Our Advertiser Experience team is looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer to help us scale up our Campaign Building application. We have built a React application that currently serves virtually all forms of self service campaign building at Amazon and now we need to make this application scale to meet the very broad needs of the business. The opportunity to impact the bottom line is massive as even small improvements to the campaign building experience can result in major changes to the overall revenue of the business.

You will work closely with UX and Product teams to help us drive forward the campaign building experience to support the next generation of Ad Products. You'll have a direct impact for our customers by helping build beautiful and intuitive UI's that can help customers optimize their brand and product advertisements, increase sales and improve the Amazon shopper experience.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about quality, consistency, maintainability, performance, security and all the other things that make great software great. You will own the design and implementation of major deliverables end-to-end. This position requires collaboration with product managers, technical program managers and partner teams, necessitating a comfort-level with ambiguity and a desire to create, iterate and improve.
