We are looking for builders who are passionate about software development to join the Advertising Console Telemetry team. In this role, you will be a technical expert with massive impact. Your work will directly impact the success of Amazon's fastest growing business. You will work with a diverse and multi-disciplinary team consisted of data engineers, data scientists, machine learning engineers, BI engineers and product managers.

You will work on the most business critical engineering problems, building high quality, architecturally sound products and services that are aligned with our business needs.

The Advertising Console Telemetry is a new team chartered to own the user analytics for Advertising Console products - we're moving fast and learning and adapting along the way. We are looking for a passionate software engineer to design and develop a robust, scalable analytics data pipeline and optimize the consumption of data sources we are required to generate unique insights about our systems. You will work with top-notch technical professionals developing complex systems at scale and with a focus on sustained operational excellence. Members of this team will be challenged to innovate using the latest big data and machine learning techniques. Basic Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
* Equivalent experience to a Bachelor's degree based on 3 years of work experience for every 1 year of education
* 3+ years professional experience in software development
* Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design
* Computer Science fundamentals in data structures
* Computer Science fundamentals in algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis
* Proficiency in, at least, one modern programming language such as C, C++, Java, or Perl

Preferred Qualifications

* Proven experience working big datasets
* Proven experience working with AWS/Cloud products
* Experience in development based Machine Learning models/methods/tooling
