This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled, experienced engineer to join our team as we explore and build new hardware and software solutions to perform a wide range of tasks that support our ever expanding network of Amazon Fulfillment Centers.

In this role you will utilize your experience to develop new hardware and build the next generation of Amazon's device management software solutions. The team owns these "from the silicon up," including hardware design, operating system development, native mobile apps, and native AWS services architecture at a massive scale. As a seasoned engineer you will design, build and rollout solutions globally that make our processes and staff more efficient and thereby making Amazon more productive in our customer obsession pursuit.

Amazon Fulfillment Technologies (AFT) powers the physical engine at the heart of Amazon. AFT builds and operates software, hardware, and the processes that run the global network of fulfillment centers that move billions of units of inventory, employ tens of thousands of people, and ensure that customers get what they want when promised. We do this by building automated solutions to handle things that technology does well, while relying on people to handle things that humans do well.
