Amazon QuickSight is AWS's first fully managed, native cloud based data visualization product that enables customers to extract insights from their data, quickly and easily even with no technical knowledge.

QuickSight is growing rapidly and we are hiring talented Software Engineers to work on initiatives that will be critical towards driving customer engagement with the product. This is not your normal software gig. You might have heard of "Growth Hacking is the new VP Marketing" and we admire the mindset of Growth Hacking, but what we do is actually serious data science.

You will work extremely cross-functional - working closely with engineers (within, or from other teams), designers, product managers to deliver better customer experience, doing qualitative user researches, and conducting data analysis, etc. (And there are lots of etcetera)

To begin with, you will build tools to listen to the Voice of Customers from a variety of channels at scale. This includes creating mechanisms for collecting customer feedback to using models and algorithms to derive insights from that data. Most importantly, you will build solutions based on the insights to evolve the customer experience to deliver a best of breed data visualization product. We are looking for full stack engineers who are passionate about experimentation (like A/B testing) and areas like Customer Satisfaction Score (CSAT), Net Promoter Score (NPS), or Customer Effort Score (CES). It's great if you know these terms and have a passion for them but don't worry if you know nothing at all, you will learn it from day one.
