Job Description
This role is only open to those able to commute to our offices - no inquiries for remote work, please!Genie Retail is looking to augment its Software Development team with the hiring of a Senior Software Developer.
The Genie Energy MIS department supports the operation of our Retail Energy business. Our core applications are responsible for billing and customer relationship support.
Experience Needed:
5 years of C#.net experience - creating Windows Forms applications.
5 years of SQL Server experience - comprehensive knowledge of SQL and T-SQL. Experience must be recent.
2 years of experience using DevExpress Windows Form Controls.
We Would Like to See:
Experience with Retail Energy operations, either as a Software Developer developing software to manage Retail Energy billing or in any role in which the candidate was exposed to Retail Energy business processes and has acquired a good understanding of such processes will be a plus.
The candidate must be a quick learner, a team player, and capable of picking up an existing project in midstream and completing it. He/she must be able to work independently and be capable of mentoring junior developers as well.
