Q2 is seeking an innovative and passionate Software Developer to help build an industry changing fintech platform. Founded in Austin, TX, we are a growing company committed to building stronger communities by strengthening their financial institutions. As a C# .NET developer at Q2, you will be integral to a small, top-talent team tasked with creating a new line of business in a space that is begging for innovation. You will help plan, design, develop, test, debug, and deploy distributed, highly-available and scalable applications and services. We embrace open source software both as consumers and contributors.

Essential Job Functions:

* Adhere fanatically to lean software development and continuous delivery methodologies
* Research, architect, and build sub-systems that successfully integrate with new and existing platforms
* Dissolve complex requirements into meaningful, manageable units of work
* Participate actively in design and code reviews, retrospectives, driving improvements to products and processes
* Thrive on a small team of highly skilled, motivated peers
* Apply advanced design patterns and technologies when appropriate without over-engineering solutions
* Own the responsibility of developing high quality software with the right balance of test automation
* Communicate and document efforts to both technical and non-technical audiences
* Responsible for ensuring that all security, availability, confidentiality and privacy policies and controls are adhered to

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
* 3+ years of experience with C# and .NET
* 1+ years of experience working with database-centered applications or platforms
* Experience with key concepts in software application design (security, patterns, frameworks, structured code, etc.)
* Experience with test automation frameworks and auto-mocking tooling

Qualifications that make you stand out over others:

* Domain knowledge and experience in the banking industry
* Experience designing and developing highly scalable, enterprise-grade, event-driven systems
* Cloud hosting experience (Azure a big plus)
