Job Description

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. Define specifications for significant new projects and specify, design and develop software according to those specifications. You will perform professional software development tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.

Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products/services/processes. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 8 or more years of software engineering or related experience.

Responsibilities

Provide security consultancy and advice to test and development teams, helping them achieve their design and release objectives.

Perform security design review and code reviews.

Educate and advocate security and safe coding practices in our products.

Conduct research to identify new attack vectors against our products and services.

Develop technical solutions that measure our effectiveness in testing for security vulnerabilities.

Develop technical solutions to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and make security easier for developers.

Preferred qualifications:

8 years relevant work experience, including experience in one or more of: Oracle database security and PL/SQL, C/C /java code vulnerabilities, as well as experience with the enterprise software security models.

Significant development experience in Java, PL/SQL, C, C .

Foundation in and in-depth technical knowledge of security engineering, computer and network security, authentication, security protocols and applied cryptography.

Must be motivated to learn independently and conduct self-directed research.

Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
