Job Description

The AWS Perimeter Protection team builds service that protect AWS infrastructure, Amazon.com, and some of the world's largest applications against the availability impact of Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks. We are looking for exceptional Systems Engineers to be a part of a world class team that owns highly distributed critical systems at scale.

In this role you will research and solve problems pertaining to large scale traffic distribution. You will help lead new feature development, distributed system design, continuous improvement, and other initiatives to deliver an excellent service to AWS service teams and AWS Customers.

We are looking for a strong leader with a bias for automation and operational excellence to build, maintain and operate critical defense capabilities that are relied upon by millions of active customers.

Successful candidates will enjoy working with distributed systems, take joy in automating and have outstanding analytical skills and excellent communications. You will thrive in a highly collaborative and analytical, fast-paced environment and are comfortable interacting with high technical software and networking development teams.
