As a member of our Infrastructure Development team, you will dive right into creating innovative solutions that advance businesses and careers. You'll join an inspiring and curious team of technologists dedicated to develop and deploy large scale infrastructure solutions that supports JPMC's diverse and critical businesses. You will be using the latest technologies, data management and security practices in all aspect of software development. This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including the below MUST HAVES:

* BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
* Software development experience in one or more general purpose programming languages: Python, Java, C, C++, Go
* Being a team player in a driven 24x7 global operating SRE team
* Writing clever Powershell or Python code (2-3 year experience preferred)
* Understanding windows operating system security internals (ntlm vs Kerberos vs sChannel) and how it interacts with Enterprise Active Directory (2 years+ experience)
* Learning the next generation of bleeding edge Microsoft security best practices
* Consuming data and API integrations to drive security automation (1 year+ experience)
* Troubleshooting difficult security issues that "non-security" people stays away from
* Ensuring the environment is clean, stable and scalable for the long term. Understands the difference between surgically applying a fix vs applying another bandaid on top of existing technical debt
* Ability to articulate and share clear, concise complex technical findings to management in understandable terms
* Maintains proficiency in these key areas:
*

Hardware Architecture (performance testing, monitoring, operations)
* Hardware Benchmarking (Agile, program managements, network management)
* Design (compliance, security)
* Network Engineering (planning, provision)

* Experience working with two or more from the following: web application development, database, unix/linux environments, distributed and parallel systems, information retrieval, networking, large scale software development, security software development
* Understanding or have experience with agile and lean philosophies
* Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills with clear communication

Nice to haves:

* Experience in one or more of the following: Java, Python, Perl, C/C++ or Ruby. (3-5 years)
* Solid knowledge in Windows operating systems (3-5 years)
* Solid knowledge of SQL and Powershell scripting (3-5 years)
* Solid knowledge of configuration management tools (Puppet/Chef etc.) and monitoring tools (3-5 years)
* Knowledge of cloud and virtualization technology a plus.
* Experience with algorithms, data structures, complexity analysis and software design.
* Experience in Agile SDLC practices with strong focus on continuous integration and continuous delivery pipeline automation and tooling, DevOps, distributed version control system, and agile methodologies.
* Interest in designing, analyzing and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
* Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with strong communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive.
* Ability to debug and optimize code and automate routine tasks
* Proven ability in developing relationships with stakeholders, communicating project/program status, and understanding detailed business requirements across multiple project initiatives
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including ability to negotiate compromise and demonstrate diplomacy in sensitive situations and to interact effectively with peers and management across diverse cultures

This position is anticipated to require the use of one or more High Security Access (HSA) systems. Users of these systems are subject to enhanced screening which includes both criminal and credit background checks, and/or other enhanced screening at the time of accepting the position and on an annual basis thereafter. The enhanced screening will need to be successfully completed prior to commencing employment or assignment.
