Job Description
As a Project Manager for Wayfinding & Signage on the Perkins+Will Branded Environments team, you will:
* Lead design efforts and project teams including design direction and client engagement
* Develop strategic Wayfinding & Signage solutions for a variety of local and international clients across a range of market sectors including corporate, healthcare, academic institutions, transit and science + technology
* Design and coordinate detailed design concepts, assist with design and technical coordination among disciplines, and respond to technical implications of design decisions
* Facilitate program development with project team
* Be responsible for project design budget, cost control, and schedule
* Prepare proposals, design presentations, assuming lead in client and owner presentations
* Coordinate contractors, consultants, and vendor assignments including integration of basic engineering systems in overall project design
* Collaborate and engage with various P+W disciplines to sell services
* Direct, organize, and mentor junior staff with responsibility for oversight
* Work hard, play hard, and learn a lot along the way
Job Requirements:
* A professional degree in Graphic Design, or related discipline
* 8+ years of experience
* Proficiency in 3D modeling, visualization, and graphic software; Revit strongly preferred
* Strong design portfolio
* Understand building design and construction and how Wayfinding & Signage relates to a variety of spaces
* Ability to direct and coordinate work efforts of junior staff
* Experience in all phases and aspects of a project
* Effective verbal and written communication skills
* Problem solving skills, attention to detail, and motivation to learn
* Collaborative and professional work ethic
* LEED AP or within 6 months of hire
