Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

This ASP.Net/SharePoint Web Developer will be responsible for developing and supporting ASP.Net and SharePoint websites. This includes development of ASP.Net web pages, C#, JavaScript, SharePoint Workflows, SharePoint Web Parts, SQL Server Stored procedures, tables, and other database objects. This position will also support the business in creation of team sites, wiki's, document libraries and content management. This resource will monitor site usage, performance, security and system availability.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

* Develop ASP.Net websites, using ASPX, C#, and JavaScript.
* Develop SharePoint workflows, web pages, and web parts
* Develop complex SQL queries as required for the web pages.
* Determine physical database objects necessary and work with DBA if needed.
* Designing and customizing SharePoint solutions
* Ongoing maintenance of ASP.Net and SharePoint websites.
* Configure and maintain SharePoint site components including Site Collections, sites, document libraries, lists, pages, and web parts
* Provide training and other assistance with SharePoint to end users as needed
* Develops and maintains documentation/SOP of SharePoint system
* Determine web page design by studying project requirements.
* Troubleshooting, correct, and test defects in web pages, reports, stored procedures and other related functions.
* Assisting in project development, defining technical requirements an developing solutions
* Accurately translate business requirements into functional and technical implementations
* Development and Support of integration, content management, portals, search, collaboration, business process, or other solutions
* Create and maintain related documentation.
* Establish or update standards as required.
* Work independently and in a team environment.
* Provide customer service in a timely, responsive, courteous and accurate manner.
* Maintain growth and development to meet job responsibilities.

Required Skills

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

* 2+ years of experience with ASP.Net, C#, JavaScript, HTML, and Microsoft Sql Server
* 2+ years' experience in database development to include command of T-SQL.
* 1+ Experience with SharePoint 2010/2013 development
* 1+ Experience working with source control applications, Microsoft TFS preferred
* Experience with CMS (Content Management Systems) a plus
* Experience developing reports using SSRS preferred.
* Very good written and oral communication skills required
* Highly developed analytical and problem solving skills.
* Works well in team environment

Required Experience

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

* Bachelor's degree in related field preferred but not required
* Minimum 2 years' experience of IT/business experience and Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or business experience equivalent required
* Distribution, logistics, supply chain and/or manufacturing industry experience a plus.
* Experience with ERP, Warehouse Management, Transportation Management, and Accounting a plus.
