Service Technician

IT Division, Data Center Software Solutions

this role is based in Northern VA

The Technician in this role will be responsible for local and remote Building Management System (BMS) troubleshooting. They will be required to be on call and must be able to be onsite within an hour to Sterling\Ashburn VA.

What do you get to do in this position?

* Troubleshoot BMS Hardware and Software
* Work with customers and provide excellent customer service

This job might be for you if you have:

* 5 years of BMS experience
* Extensive knowledge in communication trouble shooting (485, IP, Modbus, Bacnet, Oscilloscope use)
* Wireshark evaluation experience
* Experience in MOP and Change management writing
* BMS programming troubleshooting in Graphic Block and Script
* Good technical writing skills
* Customer Relations Experience
* Understanding of mechanical systems operations as it relates to BMS
* Continuum and Struxureware for Buildings Operations experience a plus
* Network, Windows and Linux systems knowledge desired
* Ability to travel 50%
