The Services Integration lead is a key leadership position within our Technology and Market Accelerator team. This role is responsible for identifying technology developed within the Maxar Services group that is ripe for commercialization. Success in this role requires a cross functional skill set including excellent technical skills in the geospatial realm, a keen eye for technology which has a strong product/market fit, and the interpersonal skills to collaborate successfully with business development, software engineering and R&D teams. This leadership role will be a key element to our new product development activities in driving the next phase of growth for Maxar.

Key Areas of Responsibility

* Develop an inventory of the available technology built on-contract for our customers that is available for use within commercial product lines.
* Collaborate with Product leadership teams to identify capabilities within our inventory that are best suited to address mid to long term product roadmap requirements.
* Perform initial integration of capabilities into Maxar products, platforms and architectures therefore limiting technical risk for future full-scale integrations.
* Create PoCs that highlight the benefit of technology integrated into Maxar architectures.
* Build, lead, manage and develop a team of software engineers who are focused on building the next generation of Maxar product capabilities.
* Team successfully with partners in the Services, Product Engineering, Product Management and Technology Accelerator teams to drive success with Maxar Products.

Position Requirements:

* 12+ years of technical experience in a geospatial software engineering and/or professional services capacity.
* 3+ years of experience working with Maxar products including DigitalGlobe Imagery products and Radiant Solutions analytical products.
* Well connected across Maxar's Global Field Operations department with the necessary connections and reputation to dig into existing Maxar programs, initially focused in the USG market.
* Solid technical understanding of geospatial applications, services, algorithms and processing methods and the ability to make connections between existing Maxar programs and Maxar product roadmaps to provide recommendations around how Maxar program developments can fit into roadmaps.
* Software engineering skills necessary to integrate software libraries, applications, algorithms and frameworks from customer architectures into Maxar backend systems.
* Experience in USG customer domains with a proven track record in understanding the use cases we are addressing on current Maxar programs.
* Ability to digest the salient details of moderate to highly complex technical programs and articulate the value of development work done on these programs to Maxar staff, including Product leadership.
* Vision and product strategy skills to be able to represent how a current program capability can unlock one or more product opportunities in the medium to long term.
* Leadership skills with the ability to build a team with the right mix of skills and experience to achieve a set of complex tasks.
