Job Description

The Service Integration Expert is responsible to support the following functions across the Alcon ERP IT systems landscape:

* Technical change management
* Transport management
* Technical integration with Infrastructure/Basis
* Technology management
* Cutover management
* Internal/External integration related communications
* SAP landscape housekeeping
* The Service Integration Expert is part of the IRIS Core team who provides ERP template governance globally
* Perform ChaRM Change Manager functions for ERP projects and production support
* Manage cycle setup and business process tasks in SAP Solution Manager
* Perform technical troubleshooting in ChaRM and DMS
* Perform transport reviews with ERP functional and enabling stream teams
* Perform change impact assessment of customizing and programming objects to protect live sites from negative impact
* Manage the promotion of transports across all ERP system environments
* Resolve transport conflicts
* Support cutover planning, dress rehearsal and execution
* Plan system refreshes according to ERP integrated roadmap
* Coordinate ERP system installations with Infrastructure/Basis teams
* Identity areas of system performance improvement
* Assist process and developments teams to perform system upgrades and note corrections
* Manage settings required for system integrations
* Evaluate system solutions and provide recommendations according to best ERP practices
* Manage system sizing requirements according to system growth estimates
* Plan technical release scope and implementation sequence based on change requests
* Coordinate with Basis the import of all system changes to production
* Provide hyper care support during project go-lives and major releases
* Send system outage communications to key stakeholders
* Identify the retrofit scope of system changes across the ERP system landscape
* Support the design and implementation of the ERP landscape strategy
* Coordinate technical and transactional data archiving for ERP systems
* Track deliverables and timelines as needed
