Service Desk Analyst will be responsible for supporting, troubleshooting, and maintaining the National Western Life hardware and software.
Essential Functions
Organizing, prioritizing, and documenting daily workload in the IT ticketing request system
Orienting new end users in hardware, software, and network systems/services available
Troubleshooting, determining root cause, and repairing hardware and software problems
Installing new computers, peripheral devices, software, and work areas. This may include lifting heavy equipment, such as printers, furniture, servers, etc.
Assisting in tracking hardware inventories, as well as equipment locations
Managing equipment maintenance, such as routine cleaning, service checks, software updates, etc.
Identifying, tracking, and decommissioning obsolete hardware and problem equipment
