NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Server Engineer to join our team in Melville, New York (US-NY), United States (US).

NTT DATA is currently looking for a Server Engineer to provide services to maintain and operate and respond to requests and issues that arise in the support of and to perform project design and deployment activities for Digital Operations infrastructure and environment. Responsible also to provide day-to-day data center network operational tasks responding to alerts and resolving issues. Operate, maintain and enhance all aspects of Digital Operations, support Infrastructure and ensure alignment between infrastructure services and other Service Lines

Tasks include but not limited to:

3rd party software licenses & currency management

Access & identity management

CMDB management

AV & identity management

Log management

Capacity & resource management

Troubleshooting infrastructure issues

Run & maintain hardening scripts

Disaster recovery, backup and restore activities

Provide non-transactional monitoring & alerting

Perform system administrator tasks and administering automation tools

VMWare, Windows, Linux support

Provide and update technical documentation

Participate as resource to NPI and non NPI projects

Basic Qualifications:

5 years of experience in the following:

General Server operational knowledge

OS's - Windows, Linux & Vmware

Active Directory, DNS

Scripting - Powershell or Ansible

Desired:

ARM, AKS & Open Shift

Azure knowledgeSite recovery, backup recovery, availability groups, best practice HA server deployment
