Responsibilities:

* Direct iCIMS' marketing divisions on technical, social, and conceptual SEO execution.
* Enhance content for Search Engine Optimization to increase high-quality traffic and conversion volume of corporate website.
* Work cross-departmentally to align marketing messaging with SEO best practices to ensure relevancy and consistency for target audience.
* Provide keyword research to support content marketing and product marketing teams.
* Align with the SEM team to ensure that tracked keywords are keyword targets that have a proven return on investment in the form of market qualified leads and sales opportunities.
* Drive optimization efforts through tactical keyword discovery, landing page optimization, testing, and analysis in partnership with SEM team.
* Monitor and track company's rankings within Google SERPs.
* Report on revenue-generated organic opportunities to determine overall effectiveness of SEO activities.
* Research and educate company on SEO trends including on-page and off-page success factors.
* Assist UX team with metric gathering and optimization strategies.
* Prepare quarterly reporting on organic metrics to senior leadership.
* Manage SEO vendor relationships.

Qualifications:

* Min of 3 Years' of experience in Search Engine Optimization/Marketing.
* Proven track record of developing successful SEO strategies.
* Google Analytics certification preferred.
* Comfortable working in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Undergraduate degree from a 4-year university ideally with a focus in Marketing, Management, Finance, or Business Administration desired.
* Experience in client presentation and consulting skills
* Basic project management knowledge including estimating engagement and effort, duration.
* Demonstrated ability to prioritize components of short - and long-term projects and escalations.
* Proven ability to work well with cross-functional teams to achieve results.

Technical Skills

* Hands-on SEO experience with a strong technical focus.
* Experience with analytics (Google Analytics), rank monitoring, and database tools, including the leading SEO software tools: Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMRush, and MOZ.
* Experience with Ninja Outreach, Buzzstream or other leading backlink outreach tools.
* Experience in link audits and creating link disavow files.
* HTML skills, page speed monitoring, Indexation & Page Titles, tags and meta data management.
* Site linking and content audit experience.
* Qualification in statistics, economics, accounting, math, engineering, market research or other data-driven field.
* Knowledge with technical aspects of search engines.
* Familiarity with Google Search Console versions 1 and 2.
* Familiarity with Voice Search & Semantic Markup
* Familiarity with using Bing Webmasters Tools.
* Experience working with and optimizing SEO within CMS environments.
* Experience with A/B and/or multivariate testing.
* Advanced knowledge of Excel.

Content Management Experience

* Content Management: Experience in managing large sets of URLS and their meta robots condition to ensure that pages are not hit with a Google Core Quality Update or Google Panda Algorithm.
* Crawlability: Technical aspects of SEO such as, 301 redirects, 404 errors, site speed, server responsiveness, robot.txt files, no follow and NOINDEX directives. (understanding performance of the website
* Rank ability: On-page optimization such as keyword research, title and description tags, H tags, and keyword density/frequency, as well as internal linking, and link sculpting.
* Content Marketing: Inbound marketing focus around giving input on quality content and then working on off-site optimization such as link acquisition & content sharing to promote that content.
* Usability and Conversion Optimization: Focusing on data to improve site layout, functionality and conversions tied to business objectives.
