About You:

SmartAsset is looking for an SEO Analyst to join our editorial team. The SEO Analyst will work directly with editorial leadership on efforts to optimize site content and identify opportunities for growth and content creation. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of modern SEO strategies and tactics, and prior experience using those skills in an editorial setting.

Required Skills and Experience

* 1-3 years relevant experience
* Expert-level user of SEO research programs including SEMrush and AHREFS; and experience using these programs to conduct keyword research and track performance of existing pages
* Top-notch project management skills, and adept at using Excel / Google Sheets to organize collaborative projects
* Strong working knowledge of Google Analytics
* Creative and analytical mind, adept at identifying opportunities for improvement and new growth
* Experience navigating and minimizing the impact of Google algorithm updates
* Background in personal finance topics and knowledge of the competitive landscape a plus
