Job Description

The Senior Yardi Administrator is responsible for supporting a growing team of daily Yardi users at Inland's corporate offices and property sites to enable efficient work flow and good data quality, reducing system and team downtime. This individual will leverage their proficiency at Yardi Voyager 7s and other Yardi modules to diagnose system issues as a second-tier support level to Yardi Client Central and train users as needed.

Responsibilities:

* Supports a growing team of daily Yardi users at corporate and at property sites to enable efficient work flow and data quality, reducing system and team downtime
* Serves as an Operations-level Yardi administrator for the Yardi platform (including Residential Voyager 7s, PayScan, Rent Café, and other Yardi modules)
* Act as an escalation point for the Help Desk Team or Yardi Client Central, Yardi Client Support Team
* Analyzes system issues to determine whether a ticket must be opened or if users require additional training
* Provides timely responses in a professional, customer service-oriented fashion that resolves core issues as efficiently as possible
* Supports Training Manager in mentoring, training, and developing users to be self-reliant in Yardi
* Keeps current on Yardi updates and system changes to ensure software is understood
* Assists with system upgrades, implementations and maintenance when required
* Assists with system setup and terminations when properties are bought or sold
* Suggests best practices for use of the software
* Performs other related duties as required to accomplish the objectives of the position
* System Admin - User security
* 3rd party application integration

Qualifications:

* 5+ years Yardi systems experience (Voyager and modules)
* 5+ years technical support experience, with preference for previous experience in the Real Estate industry
* Training and/or customer service experience preferred
* High level of integrity, honesty and respect for others in both personal and business relationships
* Uses analytical and problem-solving ability to work through the complexity of an issue to get to the root of and resolve the issue
* Team-oriented individual with the ability to work independently
* Detail-oriented and organized
* Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact effectively with all team members
* Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
