Are you an experienced Windows Systems Engineer looking for an opportunity to advance?
GEICO's IT Claims Infrastructure Team is looking for an experienced, motivated Senior Windows Systems Engineer to assist us with day-to-day operations of claims systems and the migration of Claims systems to the cloud. You must have broad based skills and experience with basic networking, server administration, troubleshooting, and support.
REQUIRED:
1. Minimum 3 years of experience with Windows Server 2012 Administration, especially IIS 8 and website administration
2. Minimum 3 years of experience of supporting multi-tier applications.
3. Experience with APM ( Application Performance Monitoring tools) preferably Dynatrace SaaS & Splunk
4. Minimum 3 years of Troubleshooting .Net or Java application problems
5. Strong understanding of Internet protocols including HTTP, SSL, TCP, IP is required
6. Understanding of infrastructure concepts related to Hosting, Networks, IP Address Management, Firewalls, Certificates, Load Balancing and Reverse Proxy.
7. Broad knowledge of infrastructure including compute, network and storage is required
8. Exposure to public cloud and cloud technologies such as Amazon AWS, Azure
9. Experience working in a Cloud Deployment model
DESIRED
1. Prior experience supporting production applications
2. Agile software methodology experience
3. Experience with PowerShell scripting
4. Familiarity with ITIL and DevOps concepts

EDUCATION
