Job Description

Are you ready to collaborate and innovate in an Agile environment with a motivated team on projects that enable the company to build a 360 degree view of the customer? As a Java Web Service Developer on our Master Data Management (MDM) Initiative, you will have the opportunity to integrate our MDM product with our big data platform. MDM allows us to improve our matching of customer profiles through probabilistic matching, and serves as the foundation for our Single View of the Customer Initiative! This opportunity will provide you a great breadth of experience, as MDM integrates with almost all GEICO applications and is critical to our business.

Basic Qualifications:

* At least 4 years of programing experience in Java, Spring, and web services
* Experience in building Service Oriented Architecture applications
* Strong critical thinking, decision making, troubleshooting, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills
* Excellent verbal/written communication skills, including communicating technical issues to non-technical audiences
* A Bachelor's degree in a computer related field or equivalent professional experience is required

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with Rabbit MQ and Mule ESB
* Continuous Integration (CI) using Gradle, Artifactory, Jenkins and Container based deployments
* Tuning and monitoring using Dynatrace or Splunk
