Job Overview Research and develop on algorithms and architecture to improve video encode quality and power efficiency for mobile multimedia applications. Define systems architecture for video solutions including data flow, task partition, interface and decision on which component to be offloaded to ASIC. Design and implement functional and behavioral models of the designated video IP modules. The model will be used for algorithms development, RTL verification, and SoC bring up. Define methodology for IP level performance and power analysis and develop innovative technologies to reduce memory bandwidth, processing latency, power consumption. The teams scope includes algorithm and IP architecture design for video compression, visual signal processing and analytics, with power and performance optimization.
