Job Description

SimpliSafe is looking for a Senior UX/UI Designer to join our Marketing team. In this role you will combine strong user experience thinking with exceptional visual design skills to define the look, feel, layout and interaction details of desktop and native mobile applications for our award winning wireless consumer products. In doing so, you will:

* Use analytical thinking to understand complex user problems and requirements
* Create intuitive, efficient, and delightful experience for a broad range of end users by incorporating user requirements, business analysis, user feedback, metrics, and other types of usability findings
* Deliver low- to high-fidelity prototypes and mockups to share with cross functional teams
* Deliver design specs to the development team for each sprint
* Contribute to design patterns by incorporating modern design styles
* Participate in user research sessions and continually incorporate feedback

About you:

* Thorough understanding of UX/UI with a proven track record of delivering products
* Strong understanding of application development and the nuances between web/iOS/Android as well as responsive design
* Ability to create not just beautiful designs but designs with a great user experience
* Experience with Graphic Design tools; preferably Sketch
* Flexible and agile
* Graphic Design with experience/familiarity in UX
* Experience working with an Agile development team
* Humility and willingness to take constructive feedback
