Amazon's Business Development, Advertising & Entertainment group is seeking a talented Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst who is passionate about Data Visualization to join their growing HR Analytics team in Seattle!
As a Sr. BA for the BDAE HR Analytics team, you will partner with business leaders, HR and analytics teams across Amazon to deliver tools targeted at providing specific, actionable insights necessary to manage the health of their organizations. BDAE HR supports internal clients such as Amazon Video, Amazon Studios, IMDb, and Amazon Music, as well as works partnerships and deals between Amazon and other companies. These businesses are entrepreneurial, fast growing, global, and delivering unique products and services to customers. The Sr. BA will work on organizational design problems unique to Amazon's increasing scale and structural complexity. He/she will design, build, and own tools to surface data and insights to business leaders and will work with HR leaders on deep dive analytical support to answer complex questions. The Sr. BA will work with new AWS technologies as an early adopter and will iterate on product design and post launch adoption. The perfect candidate for this role will be passionate about telling stories with data with the latest technologies and tools.
* Own data visualizations and reporting products delivered to leaders to drive organizational design decisions * Help define the correct software option for a new line of visualizations slated for 2019 build * Perform deep dive analysis to test hypotheses and guide actions * Engage with HR leaders and other analysts to gather requirements to design and develop analytics in support of organizational health initiatives * Apply data analysis and research skills to identify key indicators and develop predictive modeling for key employee life cycle events * Understand high-level business objectives and continually align work with those objectives to meet needs of business * Execute the design of standard operational dashboards * Partner with central HR teams to scale our ongoing work across Amazon * Learn and understand a broad range of Amazon's data resources and know when, how, and which to use and which not to use * Adopt best practices in reporting and analysis: data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation * Analyze and solve problems at their root, stepping back to understand the broader context
