* Be a trusted advisor and liaison for our customers and internal engineering and product management teams
* Travel to client sites up to 40%

Your background likely includes:

* 10 years + in a professional services related, customer-facing role
* Hadoop cluster/Distributed systems experience
* AWS/Azure/Google - Cloud Experience
* Apache Spark, Solr, and other components in the Hadoop ecosystem
* Linux system administrator skills
* Be good at a scripting language: (Java, Python, Bash or other)
* Zendesk and JIRA
* Good understanding of relational database technologies
* Research, reproduce, troubleshoot, and solve challenging technical issues
* Communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively
* Desire and willingness to learn new technologies
* Fast-moving agile environments with small teams
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Active Directory, LDAP, Kerberos protocol
* Performance tuning environments and enterprise applications
