Amazon Consumer Engagement team works on highly visible customer facing features at Amazon. Amazon Affiliate program is part of the Consumer Engagement team and works with millions of original content providers, bloggers, and social media stars to drive high-quality traffic to Amazon. We are looking for a Technical Program Manager to join our team to solve innovative problems using business processes and technology innovations.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity in a data-driven, fast-paced environment. You must be able to take an idea and develop it into a broader vision, gain buy-in from stakeholders, lead the team, and seamlessly deliver upon it. You will need to have the balance to drive your initiative forward quickly while keeping stakeholders looped in and identifying new opportunities. You should be able to think big, but also break it down to details that the team can execute on the ground. You are an effective communicator and can clearly articulate your vision and ideas to executives, senior leaders and stakeholders.

As a Technical Program Manager in Affiliate Global Program Management Team, you will be working on high visibility projects collaborating with Business teams around the world and our Technology team. Prioritize the program opportunities among competing options, maintaining stakeholder relationships and optimizing existing processes. You will measure, and report on progress, resolve bottlenecks, provide escalation management, make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs with technical constraints. You will also identify and develop automated, self-serve mechanisms to scale currently manual processes where relevant, and work with the internal stakeholders to drive adoption.

Specifically, we are looking for people with the following skills

* Proactively understand customer problems and business challenges, identify potential solutions, collaborate with teams across Amazon and build plans to address the challenges
* Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management and make tradeoffs; encourage finding ways to maximize business benefit while identifying inter-dependencies between concurrent projects to prevent downstream problems
* Extreme attention to detail and desire to roll up her/his sleeves while insisting on high standards
* Passionate about solving customer problems
