Senior Technical Business Analyst - Healthcare / Life Sciences

Job Description

As our firm continues to grow, we are seeking Technical Business Analysts to join our healthcare/life sciences team based in the Gaithersburg, MD area.

Our Business Analysts create strong and collaborative partnerships. They are passionate about their work and enjoy expanding their knowledge and experience of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to build successful careers.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

* Hands-on systems implementation, integration and migration projects that involve multiple client systems
* Serving as liaison among business owners and technical teams, gathering and documenting requirements, writing use cases and user stories, designing workflows, establishing timelines, etc.
* Designing data interfaces (EDI) between clients and third party data aggregators
* Identifying test objectives and writing test scripts to ensure design and development satisfies client requirements
* Facilitating client involvement and User Acceptance Testing
* Supporting post production activities for existing integrations

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Minimum 4 years of BA experience throughout the SDLC
* Systems / data integration, interface, and data migration experience (EDI)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Experience working in healthcare/life sciences/pharma space ideal
* Some CRM experience (Siebel, Pega, Salesforce,Veeva) strongly preferred
* PL/SQL experience preferred
* Ability to write use cases, test cases, workflows, custom reports; understand relational databases, and communicate effectively to the business owners
