Job Description

Senior Technical BI Developer

The Automobile Club of Southern California is seeking an experienced Business Intelligence (BI) developer responsible for BI & Analytics solutions within the Automotive Services business unit.

Requirements:

* Extensive SQL database experience including data modeling, deep T-SQL knowledge & complex stored procedures.
* Strong BI development experience using Tableau (10.4 or later), SSDT/SSRS/SSIS, and ETL development.
* Proficient in all areas of Tableau 10.4 or later including data transformations and measures, visual analytics, dashboards & stories, mapping, calculations, data blending, and Tableau server.
* Experience with Salesforce is preferred.
* Experience with SQL tools including SSMS, SSRS, and especially SSIS is required.
* Experience supporting legacy SQL products during the transition including maintenance and troubleshooting.
* Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
* Experienced with Tableau Desktop and Server 10.4 or higher.
* Experience with SSDT, especially SSRS and SSIS.
* Excellent math skills (statistics, regression, forecasting, etc).
* Effective written and verbal communication skills to explain the logic behind analysis and ideas clearly and concisely.
* Friendly and professional demeanor and ability to excel in a team environment where transparency is the standard.
* Strong analytical and detail-oriented aptitude; a high degree of accuracy is required.
* Ability to independently manage time effectively to ensure priorities and deadlines are met.
