Description:Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) provides systems engineering, software development, training solutions and complex program management for global security, civil and commercial markets. The RMS Leadership Development Senior Consultant will be responsible for the design and delivery of development solutions for current and future leaders. The Leadership Development Senior Consultant will independently design development solutions based on leading research, best practices, and customer requirements.

This position is also responsible for facilitating courses and learning events in support of key initiatives including our Corporate Center for Leadership Excellence Programs and RMS Development Programs. The successful candidate will be expected to complete performance consultations with leaders and HR Professionals to define performance problems, design an action plan, and implement solutions that deliver results.

SPECIFIC AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY WILL INCLUDE:

* Consult with Senior Leaders and HR Leads to diagnose existing challenges to front line leader effectiveness and develop comprehensive solution to address gaps and achieve results.
* Develop New Manager Orientation program to help first line leaders execute the LM Talent Cycle
* Facilitate Mid-Level Leadership Program and other key content to support Leadership Development and Culture of Accountability
* Collaborate with Join the Journey Team to distribute development and culture change solutions to change how we get the work done across RMS
* Stay current with external trends, best practices, and innovations in learning and development
* Collaborate closely with Human Resources colleagues to create sustainable development solutions that work across RMS
* Manage multiple RMS wide talent development projects with high complexity
* Oversee creation of communication and marketing materials to deploy development solutions
* Manage logistics of training program delivery including scheduling courses, managing rosters, creating meeting invitations, and recording training in learning management system

The Leadership Development Senior Consultant will work with a team of forward-thinking professionals. Other duties may be assigned as needed to support the organization.

Basic Qualifications:

* 10+ Years designing and delivering learning solutions in large organizations
* Must be willing to travel up to 30% of the time including travel to international locations
* Understanding and application of talent processes with a focus on leadership development, career navigation, and social learning
* Experience delivering and designing Virtual Instructor Led Training
* Experience managing enterprise wide employee development programs
* Ability to consult with leaders and HR Partners using a performance consulting model
* Ability to drive results through relationships to get to the best answer
* Ability to apply innovative approaches to existing development programs
* Demonstrated effective project management, communication, consulting, problem solving and decision-making skills
* Ability to select and manage vendor and supplier engagements in partnership with Supply Chain and T&OC Operations.

* Understanding of the Oz Principle and Partners in Leadership Culture Change Methodology
* Fully engages and understands customer needs; champion of the customer experience and facilitating process improvement.
* Ability to create project plans, identify key stakeholders, define criteria for success, and effectively manage scope, teams, and deadlines.
