Teralogics has developed Unitfied Video (UV), a real time full motion video suite used in defense services industry. This system collects operational airborne intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance data over satellite based networks. The UV suite then collects and disseminate this data for Processing, Exploitation & Dissemination.

We are looking for a Systems Engineer to help build out, maintain, and troubleshoot our rapidly expanding infrastructure. You will be part of a small talented team of engineers that demonstrate superb technical competency, delivering mission critical infrastructure and ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance and security. Qualified systems engineers will have a background in IT, computer systems engineering, or systems engineering.

Performs complex network and systems engineering tasks. Conducts systems engineering duties to research, design, develop, test and implement network engineering solutions. Evaluates vendor capabilities to provide required products or services.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (may be required to perform additional job duties):

* Interact with multiple defense programs, engineers and application developers to design and implement solutions for IT and video related system architectures


* Test and evaluate new products which satisfy customer requirements


* Investigate new technology or approaches that improve system performance or reduce system costs


* Develops and execute system requirements, specification preparation, test plans, deployment and upgrade plans.


* Participates in the analysis, design, and test of IP based equipment and configurations


* Proposes upgrades to existing system and network architectures


* Performs integration testing.


* Participates in management of network configurations.


* Maintain system baseline


* Troubleshoot and analyze system issues and failures.


* Help resolve production problems in a deployed environment


* Strong communication and customer service


* Military experience a plus


* Ability to travel less than 10% as needed. Some international travel is required



MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS (education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities):

* Four year college degree in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Engineering or other related scientific or technical discipline.


* 3-5 Years related work experience


* Experience in designing, integrating and deploying various Internet Protocol (IP) based network topologies.


* Experience in Operational support of production system.


* Requires proficiency with Cisco and Juniper routers, Switches, and Firewalls


* Experience with virtual operating environments (such as VMWare), and most common operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc..).


* Military or Government contracting Experience


* Understanding of Linux operating system.


* Understanding of Bash, Perl, Python, Java, JavaScript, Powershell scripting.


* Understanding of Virtual infrastructure (i.e. VMWare, Hyper-V).


* Understanding of Cisco or Juniper Networking protocols


* Understanding of Windows systems installation, maintenance and troubleshooting.


* Understanding of Network Management Systems and Network Tools



DESIRED JOB SKILLS:

* Current/Active Secret security clearance


* Experance using multicast, PIM SM, PIM DM, AutoRP, Static RP,SNMP, MSDP, BGP, MBGP, OSPF, MPLS, & EIGRP. VPNs, DMVPN, Video/Voice, MPEG2-TS, AAA/RADIUS, NATs, VRF configuration, QOS, DNS, DHCP, and NTP.


* Current Redhat, Cisco and/or Juniper Certification
