OverviewCanon U.S.A. (CUSA) is currently seeking a talented Sr. Systems Analyst (Analyst, App Ops & Deploy Sr) who will provide business analysis and project management for the growing and challenging area of eCommerce applications at CUSA including B2B and B2C websites. This position plays a critical role in implementing and supporting projects to meet the CUSA business needs. Applicant should possess a solid understanding of the software development process and must have a proven track record of delivering applications supporting B2B ordering process, as well as high performance/customer facing eCommerce websites. Responsibilities- Works closely with the business community to perform functional analysis for developing software / hardware solutions (solutions) - Gathers information and defines the program needs, objectives, functions, features, input and output functionality requirements - Has a thorough understanding of the business processes and flows to enable the analysis of business requirements and the development of solutions for the business. Analyzes, defines and documents requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and operating system environment, interfaces with other applications and systems, front- and back-end checks and controls, and reporting - Translates high-level business requirements into functional specifications and manages changes to such specifications - Responsible for formulating and recommending solutions that support changing business directions - Participates in the analysis of feasibility and compatibility of proposed technologies with existing hardware and software infrastructure, estimate of costs and time of implementation, vendor product evaluation and buy vs. build recommendations and proposes solutions to management - Develops detailed work estimates and project plans, and assigns and tracks project tasks to completion - Coordinates development activities and tracks status - Responsible for system and integration testing and for overseeing/coordinating UAT - Works with other IT teams including infrastructure, database, and qa for project coordination - Has a strong understanding of trends in technologies and uses this knowledge to bring solutions to the business to enhance the enterprise's capabilities - Has working knowledge of development tools and proficient with HTML and SQL technologies Qualifications- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field required, plus possess 5-7+ years relevant IT and business work experience - B2B Order Management experience and experience with customer facing eCommerce websites is highly desired - Experience with HTML, Java, and SQL a must Company OverviewAbout our Company - Canon U.S.A., Inc., is a leading provider of consumer, business-to-business, and industrial digital imaging solutions to the United States and to Latin America and the Caribbean markets.
