Job Description

MTEQ is a lead sensor system integrator focused on providing advanced sensor technology to address C4ISR mission requirements. MTEQ provides a broad range of technical support across two divisions. Our Technical Services Division provides research, development, analysis and field service support to advance the architecting and fielding of advanced sensor systems for ISR and Force Protection missions. Our System Division provides the engineering design, development of complete and integrated solutions from hardware to software for sensors, systems and command and control architecture.

Duties and Responsibilities

* Develop high-quality software design and architecture
* Develop software for embedded algorithms for signal image processing and automation
* Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle
* Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code
* Create APIs for Algorithm modules
* Embed DNN/CNNs on hardware platforms such as GPUs
* Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting
* Review and debug code
* Perform validation and verification testing
* Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve products
* Document development phases and monitor systems
* Ensure software is up-to-date with latest technologies
* Embed and accelerate software solutions for GPUs, FPGAs, System on Chip (SoC) and System on Module (SoM)
* Software/Hardware integration to include integrating software within a network, managing network traffic, and minimize latency to the user

Requirements

* Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer
* Extensive experience in software development, scripting and project management
* Experience using system monitoring tools (e.g. New Relic) and automated testing frameworks
* Knowledge of selected programming languages (e.g. Python, C++) and the Java
* In-depth knowledge of embedded hardware solutions
* Familiarity with various operating systems (Linux, Mac OS, Windows)
* Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
* Ability to work independently
* Excellent organizational and leadership skills
* BSc/BA in Computer Science or a related degree

SECURITY CLEARANCE: Ability to obtain a DOD security clearance required; active clearance a plus.
