Job Description

This position supports the Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC) Advanced Systems and Development Directorate (AD) Capability, Integration & Transition Division (ADY). AD's mission is to drive future Space capabilities through collaborative innovation, development planning, and demonstrations. ADY performs technology-related tasks including innovation activities, formulating technology strategies and roadmaps to ensure science and technology investment and development supports the acquisition of future space and missile systems, and ultimately technology transition.

This position supports advanced analysis capabilities related to future space launch architecture and propulsion system concepts. Applications include spacelift, large missile and orbit maneuvering applications. The contractor will be responsible for delivering conceptual designs, system engineering services, detailed analysis and cost estimation for advanced launch vehicle, orbit transfer and propulsion system concepts.

EXPERIENCE:

Integrity Applications Incorporated is seeking a highly motivated space professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in one or more of the following areas:

Project management for technology development of space and launch systems
Mission design and vehicle system engineering support, including requirements definition, concept of operations, technical requirements synthesis, vehicle and subsystem definitions
Vehicle performance modeling, including trajectory simulation and architecture trade studies
Propulsion system design and cycle analysis, including engine cycle analysis and optimization, combustion stability analysis, conceptual engine component design, and engine testing requirements
USAF Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC) processes, procedures & compliance documents
Cost modeling, including propulsion, vehicle, and infrastructure
Partnership with NASA, AFRL and Industry

QUALIFICATIONS:

This individual must possess a BA/BS degree (graduate degree preferred) in Business, Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or other related technical discipline
The candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in relevant DoD space systems
Must be a strong, proactive individual who takes the initiative to identify, own, and solve customer problems
Planning experience with space, ground, operations, and sustainment segments of a DoD program
Must have the ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment
Must have superior interpersonal, written, and communications skills with the ability to interface with different personalities in a range of positions, including many at very senior levels
Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to independently execute work tasks in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment
Ability to think critically and synthesize information from multiple sources into comprehensive plans

DESIRED SKILLS:

Advanced Degree in Science, Engineering, Math, or Business
Solid understanding of DoD acquisition life-cycle policies, processes and milestones

SECURITY REQUIREMENTS: Current Secret clearance required; Active Top Secret/SCI desired.
