Inovalon Inc., seeks Senior System Engineer for multiple openings.

Responsibilities

* Responsible for the Enterprise Storage Infrastructure and serves as Subject Matter Expert in multiple areas of data storage and protection;
* This responsibility includes ensuring the data storage and protection systems run at optimal levels, and are leveraged to service business needs as effectively as possible, from the most basic storage platform to the most advanced data replication and presentation strategies;
* Lead the design and implementation of best-in-the industry, innovative technologies that will expand Inovalon's infrastructure through robust, scalable, adrenaline-filled solutions;
* Lead the implementation of attached storage solutions; Lead the configuration, administration, and troubleshooting of storage arrays including Dell EMC's VMAX, Unity, VNX, XtremeIO, Isilon, and IBM's XIV;
* Lead the configuration, administration and troubleshooting of Cisco MDS switches; Lead the design and implementation of Data Protection solutions including backup and long term archiving;
* Create Standard Operating Procedures and Runbooks to support day-to-day and disaster recovery operations;
* Develops and leverages robust management and reporting tools to provide insight into storage trends, capacity management, performance and data protection across all platforms and data centers;
* Collaborate with a team of engineers and administrators across all infrastructure domains (storage, compute, networking, security) to manage multiple datacenters in a rapidly expanding infrastructure; and Work with Inovalon's business units and infrastructure groups to improve the storage and data protection systems and processes.

Qualifications

* Master's degree in Computer Science, Software/Electrical Engineering, or a related field of study, plus at least 3 years of experience in the position offered or IT-related role;
* In lieu of a Master's degree plus at least 3 years of experience, Employer is willing to accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software/Electrical Engineering, or a related field of study, plus at least 5 years of experience in the position offered or IT-related role;
* All applicants must have at least 3 years of experience (5 years if in possession of a relevant Bachelor's degree) with: (1) NAS and SAN infrastructure management, enterprise storage and data warehouse platforms; (2) EMC Storage technologies including Isilon, VMAX, VNX, XtremeIO, SyncIQ, VPLEX, RecoverPoint, and Data Domain; (3) virtualization, Microsoft operating systems, and Linux operating systems; (4) Hadoop clusters, HDFS, and storage requirements; and (5) replication technologies such as SyncIQ, RecoverPoint, or vPlex
