What you will be doing:

As a Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for providing desktop and network administration and support to our Managed Services clients. This includes but is not limited to providing remote desktop and network support, providing on-site desktop and network support, performing on-site moves, adds, changes, performing desktop and network administration and monitoring (proactive), and assisting in on-site project implementation.

Network Administration and Support

* Provides network administration and support for clients
* Installs, maintains and upgrades internal computer hardware and software systems
* Troubleshoots, diagnoses and resolves network/server issues
* Monitors network performance and security
* Controls user access and passwords
* Plans and implements moves, adds and changes
* Complete LAN management documentation

Desktop & Network Project Implementations

* Plans and implements desktop and network projects for managed services customers
* Performs project planning, scoping, testing and implementation
* Proposes and implements systems enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of the system
* Assists with recommending, scheduling and implementing system hardware and/or software upgrades or repairs
* Researches, evaluates and recommends software and hardware products

Leadership

* Team Lead for a team of Systems Administrators
* Provides daily guidance and escalation support
* Coaching, mentoring and team development

What you bring:

* 5+ years of related workstation and server experience in a LAN environment
* 5+ years of experience working in a proactive LAN Administration role
* Experience analyzing networks improvement opportunities, presenting a plan, and successfully implementing the necessary changes
* Experience with implementing and fully utilizing remote network management and monitoring tools
* Experience implementing technical LAN/WAN projects in a service environment
* Experience configuring, implementing, and supporting network operating systems: Windows 2008/2008R2/2012/2016
* Experience configuring, implementing, and supporting Windows desktop operating systems
* Experience configuring, implementing, and supporting MS Office, Outlook/Exchange, anti-virus, back-ups and other various desktop applications
* Experience configuring, implementing, and supporting Citrix Presentation Server/XenApp at the client and network level
* Experience configuring, implementing, and supporting various back-up and anti-virus solutions at the desktop and enterprise level
* Experience with configuring, implementing, and supporting various server applications (SQL, IIS, etc)
* Ability to travel and maintain a flexible work schedule
* Valid state driver's license and good driving record
* Experience multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent problem-solving skills
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Bachelor's degree in CIS or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience as required for the specific job level

Added bonus if you have:

* Experience supporting WAN and Infrastructure devices is desired
* MCSE/MCTS/MCITP certification is highly desired
