KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Specialist to join our Federal Advisory practice.

Responsibilities:

* Participate in system design efforts for various client projects
* Develop, create and document technical specifications and designs that satisfy documented business / functional requirements
* Provide programming and technical expertise to ensure business solutions are met
* Ensure all code / technical configurations and other work products are properly unit-tested prior to delivery
* Participate in system / integration testing as appropriate. Perform code reviews and other QA steps as requested
* Adhere to SDLC and technology architecture requirements
* Proactively identify alternatives and recommend / implement solutions as appropriate

Qualifications:

* A minimum of three years experience in an Agile and/or SAFe SDLC environment with following technologies: Java/J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, MyBatis frameworks, APIs, Web Services (SOAP, RESTful), Maven, JUnit, SonarQube
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; Computer Science, Information Systems, or MIS degree preferred
* Demonstrated competency in enterprise design patterns, object-oriented design, development and implementation of complex applications or components
* Ability to accurately identify scope of work, prepare thorough detailed schedule estimates
* U.S. citizenship required and the ability to obtain a U.S. Federal government security clearance within a reasonable period of time
