KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Specialist to join our Federal Advisory practice.

Responsibilities:

* Develop solutions integrating AWS and Microsoft Azure government community clouds with services hosted on-premise and in other clouds
* Define and implement secure networking solutions between on-premise data centers and government community clouds
* Define and implement cloud-based solution architectures
* Install operating systems and application software in cloud compute environments
* Define, document, and implement procedures for backup of on-premise and cloud-based systems / data
* Monitor cloud-based systems and components for availability, performance, reliability, security, efficiency, and ability to meet non-functional requirements and service level agreements
* Develop and maintain software solutions / scripts to support automation of cloud configuration and administration

Qualifications:

* A minimum of five years of Cloud Engineering experience; U.S. Federal government consulting experience preferred
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; MBA or MIS from an accredited college/university preferred
* Experience developing, configuring, and managing cloud-based systems supporting enterprise web-based applications
* Experience supporting security audits, accreditation and certification processes, and obtaining approval to operate (ATO) for cloud-based system architectures
* Experience with Azure PowerShell scripting / Agile development
* U.S. citizenship required and an active U.S. Federal government Secret security clearance
