Software Tester 4 (Senior Software Tester)

We are seeking a Senior Software Tester to join our project team in building and implementing enterprise grade software systems. The ideal candidate will lead quality assurance testing efforts for one or more complex applications.

Responsibilities/Duties:

* Analyze functional and system specifications
* Participate in requirements gathering throughout the project lifecycle
* Develop and document system and release test plans and test cases
* Maintain requirements traceability
* Execute test plans and test cases for Functional, System, Regression, Performance, Load, Data Quality, and Section 508 Compliance testing
* Establish and maintain test data
* Develop automation test frameworks
* Assist the development team in debugging and reproducing reported issues
* Record, track and report on defects and their resolution
* Effectively balance work on multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
* Participate in Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Scrum Meetings and other agile activities
* Analyze datasets to identify quality issues
* Support UAT activities
* Deliver quality assurance reports and metrics
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of the QA team's standard practices and procedures

Required Qualifications

Required Skills:

* 8 + years of experience executing manual and automated testing.
* Experience creating comprehensive system and release test plans, with scope including manual and automated Functional, System, Regression, Performance, Load, Data Quality, and Section 508 Compliance
* Ability to write comprehensive test documentation such as test plans, test scripts, test reports, and defect reports
* Experience using SQL to test data quality and integrity
* Experience conducting Section 508 compliance testing
* Must be able to multi-task and excel in a fast-paced, on-time deliverable environment
* Strong analytical skill and mindset, with research, problem solving, and troubleshooting abilities
* Ability to analyze/interpret test results and provide recommendations to improve testing
* Very strong organization, multi-tasking, communication, time management, and documentation skills

Education/Certification Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree
* Agile Training or Certification a plus

Clearance Requirements:

* U.S. Citizen or permanent resident and meet 3-year US residency requirement with the ability to attain a Public Trust clearance

Desired Qualifications

Desired Skills:

* Hands on experience with Agile projects
* Experience with HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and Atlassian JIRA
* Experience with Selenium or HP Unified Functional Testing (UFT)
