About the role

Zillow's Home Loans Group is still in very early stages, so there are ample opportunities for you to have tremendous scope and influence in all areas of our technology stack. We don't expect you to already be an expert in the specific languages, frameworks, or tools that we use (if you're curious, we happen to use React, Redux, Webpack, Python 3.7, Docker, AWS ECS, and GitLab, among others). We do expect you to have strong and thoughtful opinions about the ones you've used before, as well as to be able to learn new ones. We're looking for front-end, back-end, and full-stack expertise.

Who you are

* You have a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field.
* You have 5+ years of software development experience.
* You take pride in the simplicity of your designs and the quality of your code.
* You are self-motivated and always looking for ways to improve.
* You want to know how things work and aren't afraid to get your hands dirty to find out.
* You're a good communicator and a good listener.
