We are looking for a talented senior software engineer to join our UI engineering team in developing educational web services such as learn.appdynamics.com. We are responsible for designing, building, and maintaining customer facing services to enable our customers are successful through documentation, education, and the community. You will be empowered and challenged to own development, deployment, and optimization of a one or more critical web services. We are a highly collaborative, cross-functioning team that includes designers, product managers, and engineers.

Our new Senior Software Engineer will:

* Design, develop, and iterate on the existing Learn platform to enable a best-in-class user experience for our customers.
* Work closely and communicate effectively with product managers, designers, other engineers, and vendors, as well as Knowledge Management stakeholders, in order to deploy premier customer-facing web services.
* Integrate with multiple SaaS services to extend and improve the end-to-end customer experience.
* Expand and scale existing applications using public cloud infrastructure.

Our ideal Senior Software Engineer:

* Passionate about delivering value to the customer and connecting with them through our web services
* It bugs you when something is broken for our customers and you take action to fix it, even if it's not in your domain
* Have experience working with a remote/offshore team
* 5+ years of experience working with web application development using React.js and Next.js
* 5+ years of experience designing and delivering secure and flexible web services
* 5+ years of experience integrating with external SaaS services
* Experience deploying with Amazon Web Service (AWS) Elastic Beanstalk
* Knowledge of SOAP, REST, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Java
* BA/BS in Computer Science or Master's preferred
