As a full-stack engineer on the Sell-Side Customer Growth engineering team, you'll lead development of data-driven features and experiments that help convert users of Redfin's site and apps into customers who sell their home with Redfin. You'll build products that drive growth for some of the company's most critical business initiatives and develop tools for our real estate agents to showcase an unmatched home-selling experience.

The Role

* Lead complex multi-person technical projects from initial design to launch, identifying pitfalls and coaching colleagues along the way


* Collaborate with your teammates by reviewing code, writing documentation, refining best practices, and helping our team ship high-quality features


* Keep up with technology trends to identify opportunities to apply them to the team or Redfin as a whole


* Get exposure to all levels of the company and a management team invested in your growth and success



Skills & Experience

* Full-stack experience: you have 4+ years of experience as a software developer, working on both front and back-end features. Java, React Native, and ReactJS experience a plus


* A proven track record: you've driven several complex multi-person projects to completion and can speak to the results


* Architecture instincts: you know when to use pre-built technologies and when it's time to build a tailored solution from the ground up


* Mentorship: you have the leadership skills (and the patience) to grow the developers around you


* Customer empathy: you are a "voice of the customer" and understand how your projects affect user experience


* Effective written and verbal technical communication: you can collaborate across distances, and when you disagree, you disagree constructively, with respect for everyone else's opinions and ideas
