343 Industries, the studio developing titles in the Halo universe, is looking for a talented software engineer to join our team working on the next installment in our franchise... Halo Infinite!

At 343 Industries, our mission is to inspire heroes and deliver wonder. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer - Reliability (SRE) to join the Productivity team as we bring the next installment in this epic saga to life. As a member of the Productivity team, you will work across various systems and code bases, from internal operations to editor tools and the game itself, to help optimize how Halo Infinite is created. The ideal candidate will be passionate about understanding distributed systems, automating manual processes, and making those processes faster and more reliable. We are looking for an analytical and detail-oriented individual who's excited about rapid iteration, and the processes and techniques that enable it.

Required qualifications:

* At least six (6) years of experience in software development, OR a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or comparable plus at least three (3) years of experience in software development.
* Practical ability to write reliable code in both C++ and C#, including a solid grasp of memory management fundamentals (stack versus heap, pass-by-value versus pointers or references) and multithreaded programming
* Experience with Continuous Integration approaches and tools, and experience with C/C++ build fundamentals, such as preprocessor macros and common compiler and linker settings.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Aptitude for critical thinking and logical decision-making.
* Ability to plan development work and estimate effort.

Preferred qualifications:

* Experience with Powershell or SQL.
* Experience with features of C++11 or newer.
* Experience with MSBuild.
* Experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI.
