If so, the Microsoft Azure Storage team is what you are looking for. We are building Microsoft's cloud storage solution - Microsoft Azure Storage, which is a massively scalable, highly distributed, ubiquitously accessible storage system, designed to scale out and serve the entire world. We continue to have tremendous hockey stick growth, we have many Exabyte's of data stored, and are designing and building systems for Zettabyte scale to support demand growth for the coming years.

Preferred Qualifications:

* A passion for distributed systems and large-scale storage
* Experience with transaction and indexing systems
* Experience with multi-threaded/parallel programming
* Excellence in software engineering practices, coding and solid foundation in data structures, algorithms with strong testing, debugging and analytical skills
* Proven ability to plan, schedule and deliver quality software

Basic Requirements for the position are:

* 5 years of professional software development experience building scalable, distributed services with C++
* BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering

We are the team responsible to provide C++ native, high-available, fully transactional in-memory database engine for several Azure Data Lake services. If you are interested in high performant, lock-free, native programming in distributed systems, come work with us.
