Job Description

Join the Outlook Mission Control team! We own instrumentation, publishing, data pipelines, alerting, analysis, and visualizations that allow the Windows 10, Mac, iOS, and Android versions of Outlook to iterate quickly and make data-informed decisions as we expose builds and features to successively larger audiences of users.

We are working with big data, building tools and infrastructure to extract relevant business information, and expanding our ability to understand how to make our users even happier with their Outlook experience. As we expand our investments in instrumentation, telemetry pipeline, and experimentation frameworks, we want to apply Machine Learning (ML) techniques to identify patterns and trends in usage, health, and user sentiment.

You will be a part of a team of strong engineers and data scientists who work across multiple endpoints and layers of the stack, from the product code up to polished data presentation layers. You will leverage your experience and instinct to accomplish tasks by implementing solutions using the best tools available. You must be self-driven, take initiative and want to work in a dynamic, busy and innovative group.

* Master or Bachelor's in computer science or related field
* 6+ years of relevant programming skills data mining, big data, machine learning, natural language processing, and similar experiences is a plus
* Experience and proficiency in coding skills in one or more of the following: C#, C++, Java, JavaScript, Objective C, Swift, Python
* Mac, iOS, Android development is a plus
* Excellent oral and written communication skills, able to interact effectively with development, design and program management
