Our team is Intentional Exploration. The Intentional platform is an exciting new technology acquired by Microsoft in 2017. It is the basis for a number of new applications, the first of which, Whiteboard, is now in preview release and which will grow into a very general and powerful concept of Interactive Documents that are heterogeneous and have groupware, semantic encoding, and interactions built in. Intentional Exploration is a team led by Charles Simonyi of 15 people, eventually growing to 30, that works on the "XP Platform" which is substantial refactoring of the Intentional codebase with the goal of ever greater performance, functionality, and programmability.
BA/BS
Five years of experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with C# and development environments in general
Ability to communicate, design, and code Intentional Platform requirements
Experience with C++, JavaScript/Typescript and graphics engines are also applicable.
Familiarity with functional languages and functional programming.
Outstanding applied grasp of software engineering principles and practices.
Interest in accessibility techniques is a plus.
