Job Description

Lobe is an easy-to-use visual tool that lets you build custom deep learning models, quickly train them, and ship them directly into an app without writing any code. By making deep learning simple and understandable, Lobe is giving a new wave of people from diverse backgrounds and disciplines the ability to invent with deep learning. We are working on an aggressive roadmap integrating breakthrough machine learning techniques and a beautiful user interface. Our small team is operating like a startup out of the newly renovated Microsoft office in downtown San Francisco. Team breakfast, lunch and dinners are provided daily along with many other benefits in a relaxed open layout work environment. Working from Microsoft HQ in Redmond is also an option.

We are looking for passionate and creative engineers with broad skills. You are comfortable working in startup mode: small teams, rapid iteration, flexible attitude, minimal bureaucracy. You are a good collaborator, relish technical challenges, enjoy experimentation, and strongly value good design. You are equally comfortable prototyping or writing production code. You are conversant with multiple programming languages and tools and rapidly teach yourself new computing domains and frameworks. If you are such an engineer, we would love to talk to you!

* Software engineering experience in shipping production software at scale.
* Machine learning background with TensorFlow/PyTorch/etc.
* Experience developing for the Cloud, Docker/Kubernetes.
* Experience with Python, Javascript/Typescript, etc.

Preferred

* Experience in different automated machine learning selection techniques (AutoML)
* Education in computer science or equivalent quantitative subject
