We're a small team with a big mission. We want to help millions of organizations around the world grow through empowering people to discover, adopt, and buy HubSpot's products the way they want to. To achieve this, the Growth Product Group focuses on acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization across the entire HubSpot product platform. The Monetization team specifically identifies ways to help our existing free user base become paying customers. We try to thoughtfully identify upgrade points throughout our product as well as own pricing pages and other properties that can help our customers find additional value in our products. As an engineer on Monetization, you have the rare opportunity to tie your work directly to company revenue and growth.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll work closely with product managers and designers to set the vision for how we transform HubSpot to a true product driven company.
What We're Looking For
* You not only get excited about big, technical challenges, but also about being very close to the business and our go-to-market strategies
* You measure your effectiveness not in lines of code, but business and customer impact
* A strong cross-team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills. You can work across Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales teams
* Strong data analysis skills combined with business and customer intuition. You're not afraid to dive in Excel, Amplitude, or other data analysis tools
* A builder and doer; you get job satisfaction from seeing people use the product you've built
* Start-up experience would be an advantage
* Experience with experimentation, A/B tests, and CRO is a plus
